What Classic teams are still looking for players?

Are there any classic teams looking for players?

LP Barnes may be the only one from just looking at the boards. Dunno for sure. What's ur story? Where's convenient? Where's ur BB coming from? What's he play? Etc.

Interesting bit of news there Mr CowPuke!!! That means the next runner up from the Challenge Games will be brought up; which, IMO and from the looks of the Results, will be Andro West. We shall see. Sure wish I had a contact for the FW Strikers. We (DT 02 Boys Red South) have a roster spot or two still open.

Maybe try a PM to GDWilly. They had some talented boys for sure. I was always very impressed with their GK.

It's sad to hear that a team folded after signing day.  Now, the families are in a tough position having to find other teams. Strikers had a couple of solid players who knew how to control and move the ball.  I wish them the best in finding a team soon.

Since most teams are already established...Are there coaches who would still keep an eye out for players and replace players that doesn't work out for them? Is that something that happens? If so, does it happen often? Or once signed, you're locked in?

Not likely.  A coach may feel he is light on GK's and wants another as a back-up, but I think once 7/1 hits, the classic league teams are, for the most part, set.  Now if Messi Jr comes a knocking, all bets are off!

I'm not sure and would defer to the NTSSA.  The month of July seems different as it's not part of the "Soccer Year" that starts on 8/1.  BUT once you sign, I'm not sure if you can get a release from your coach until 12/1.  See Rule 3.10.

I've not experienced it myself. But I have heard 2 different parents talk about how the coach kissed their butts all of June and July.
Then the coach got word, after these 2 parents had signed the contracts, that some hot-shot players from a competing team wanted to sign with him and these 2 played those same positions.
Well, you can imagine how that Fall and Spring season went.

Some Coaches will roster 16 or 17 and hold a spot or two just for situations like this. Always a chance of a team not making numbers and folding on or after signing day.
