U90C- Summer Splash

Just looking at the results from this half played tourney:

Solar Stricker must of retooled. LP Owen and Suns are solid wins.

Barcelona MSA spanking Arsenal fka NTX Strikers and another solid win over Texas Sporting.

Are the scores accurate? I thought that the website stated Sat morning that Tex Sport won the Barca MSA match, but it appears to have been revised.

Barca MSA has that number, better get them a lime green skittle shirt.

Oh my Tpitty my muse. Barca played well probably not their best and we were very rusty, played a little better later in the day and was looking forward to a rematch in the final. I think I have consistently said that they are a good side and a first class coach. It was the first game we played together in a while but as I'll say they controlled the match, had our number. The fun thing is hopefully we learned something from the game and have another shot. Stats from the game. Posession 55-45 Barca. Shots 8-7. Scoring chances, 4-3. Our goal was an own goal there three were wonderful strikes from about 25-30 yards out. Barca, Sporting Part 3. Maybe third time is a charm.

Yea...... Solar Stricker looks like they are front runners for Grand Champion....

Yeah, they originally posted the Barca/TX Sporting scores backwards, but that was fixed easy enough.  Imagine the confusion when we called our club president and told him we scored 4 goals and that we won 3 to 1.  He was like "What?"

That early start time was a challenge.  My BB is still on that Summer schedule, so he didn't go to sleep until like 2 am, and was not very happy when I woke him up at 5:45.  We enjoyed playing TX Sporting and Arsenal.  The boys really found their groove in that second game though, and they were looking forward to taking care of business the next morning to make it to the final and another match with TX Sporting.

Just want to say that I thought the tournament itself was ran very well, any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly and I appreciate them doing everything they could to try and get all the games in.  Good job coachdom and others.

To be fair...LP Owen was missing several starters in this tournament. Stricker definitely looked good. Too bad it was rained out.
