Where did all of the former FtWorth Strikers go?

I was really surprised to see their team didn't make. IMO they were 1 of the better independents who consistently competed with & beat the club teams. I happened to catch their game last April in the Texas Lightning tournament against the scoring machine #2 team in OK the Tulsa Blitz and came away saying wow! They lost a heartbreaker 1-0 in the final minutes. That was the only goal they gave up the entire tournament. Just seemed like a good group of kids, friendly parents & a good coach. We need more independents like that...some new blood to shake things up.

I believe that the keeper got picked up by Solar Red (Stricker). Not exactly sure where the rest ended up.

Solar Red got a very good player out of that breakup.

I have a friend whose son is playing with the majority (8 I believe) of the FW Strikers on the FC Dallas Hammers West 02 (Reynolds).

I thought I recognized Solar Reds goalie. Glad the other 8 landed somewhere together. Hope they're doing well. I know LP Owen picked up that fast little forward. Saw Owen play Striker last weekend which is what made me think of the FW Strikers, but he didn't play much...smh. Couldn't understand why he & Filipe wouldn't be on the field together on opposite sides. I don't coach so it's not for me to judge.

Lets give him the slack I wasn't when I made newbie mistakes.  A lot of these forums 'rules' are unwritten so its hard to know them unless some speaks up. Sometimes you get totally torched on here, like I was.  Or someone helps you by throwing you a bone or two...

From what I've learned by being scolded;
As a forum newbie -
1) you don't post scores of scrimmages.
2) you don't name names (player, coach, parent...)
3) you don't post links to teams' pages.
4) you don't post predictions.

I am sure there are others - but these are the ones I got called out for or learned by some other newbie getting called out for.

Yeah, you're right.
No naming kids or parents.
But coaches? Hell yeah! You can do that.

Predictions are always posted and should be a fun thing, but someone always have to screw it up with hateful crap.

Yes Striker was a typo. I meant Stricker. Did I inappropriately name names? Please enlighten me if I did. Apologies if so.

True statement. However they are posted by those who do it on the reg. I was just stating what I have been railed for as a forum newbie, or seen another forum newbie railed for. And posting predictions as a newbie is one of them.

Apologies for mentioning a specific players name. I guess saying "LP's little forward" would have been more in line with the rules. I'm learning : )
