Final score 10/23/2014: Sporting vs LP Owen
Wow! Hats off to Sporting United winning 1-0.
Aside for these bilingual refs allowing Sporting's coach scream profanity in Spanish across the field, the Sporting kids on the field played strong, beautiful communication, and excellent teamwork.
Sporting is definitely a Top 3 team .
LP Owen was just outplayed tonight.
Now, back to these CL refs and assessor:
That referree assessor for CL sucked. One line-ref was all chummy with the Sporting parent before the game started.
The Line-ref on Sporting's coach's side seemed to raise his flag for 2 obvious off-sides and 3 fouls that 1 of them should've been a yellow card.
The assessor and those refs were intimidated by Sporting's coach.

Yes, I agree. He likes to yell out profanity in English and in Spanish.

But damn! You have to hand it to those children out on the field. They played some serious soccer last night.
The Sporting parents were not any louder than any other parents.
LP's definitely not out of this by a long shot.
Just got beat by a better team last night.
The Money Gram fields were excellent.
The weather was fine. No excuses (the refs made some bad non-calls in our favor also).

I've heard Sporting United's coach curse at his own players. I don't agree with his coaching methods.

Neither do I.
He's been kicked off before for this crap, but he intimidates most refs, or most refs pal around with him.
When reported to Money Gram's staff last night, and to the referee assessor, they did a half-hearted "look" into the situation. The refs had no control.
Money Gram's policy specifically states: http://www.fcdallas.com/soccerpark/policies
"Fighting, CURSING, excessive spitting, loitering and any other behaviors deemed inappropriate are prohibited and are grounds for removal from the facility, or possible arrest. MoneyGram Soccer Park also reserves the right to remove any person(s) that is deemed to display abusive or uncooperative behavior."
Does this include coaches as well?
Obviously not.

During the Genesis FC/Athletic Dallas game last week the bilingual referee had to talk to the Athletic coach (spanish speaking) several times. A couple of the Geneis players that understand spanish said that the ref said something "very insulting" to the Athletic coach and something racist about the Genesis coach. They would not repeat what he said.
I also dont agree with the spanish speaking coaches talking to each other in spanish after the game in the presence of non-spanish speaking players or coaches when it is concerning them. Very disrespectful if you ask me.

I don't care about refs, coaches, or anyone speaking another language that I don't understand.
But DURING a game, then we all should be on board about what's being said.
If the Coach is yelling profanity at the opposing players (or any players) and you or anyone who hears and understand what's being said do not report this to Classic League Officicals and refs, then you're just as wrong also.
These coaches will get away with whatever folks allow them to get away with.
If Classic League is aware of this constantly happening and does nothing about it. Then they are money-loving hypocrites.

LOL! Not the coaches. I was talking about Classic League's governing body.
They shouldn't make rules if they're not going to actually enforce them.

Yes it is. He's been cursing on the field towards the kids for a very long time. The excuse I'm hearing is because he is a passionate coach.

He's screaming because he "can't" coach, passionate has nothing to do with it.

at a recent 03 game, he was dropping F bombs in both English and Spanish at the opposing team and CL said they would look into it when brought to their attention. I don't expect them to do much...

Email a classic rep. They will be all over you in 5, 4, 3......but will only be concerned because you emailed them directly. What a joke. That should not be allowed. I'm sure I'd be escorted out rather quickly.

Unpaid volunteers running a not-for-profit entity are not "money-loving hypocrites". At least be fair...
If this is "constantly happening", the only way the board would know is if referee misconduct reports are reaching them. Anyone may file a report to the disciplinary committee with the exact words the coach allegedly used.
The board may investigate, including watching a couple of games, during which the alleged acts invariably will not occur, which means it is NOT happening all the time.
If there are many validated complaints, it will become a point of emphasis for the referees.
Just FYI for anyone reading this - a ref who does not understand Spanish is not going to toss a coach because a parent from the opposing team says he is cursing.
Regards.

These dudes have been tossed before.
Again, the refs last night spoke Spanish. This coach curses in English and Spanish. So how many non-English or non-Spanish speaking refs are reffing this coach's game?
A DTS parent messaged me that the DTS vs. Sporting game, the Sporting coach cursed his own goalie.
Last night, one of LP Owen's parents yelled onto the field in Spanish for his kid to "ignore" that Sporting coach.
At halftime, I went straight to the MoneyGram folks to make my complaint on both the bad officiating and the very vulgar coach.
They radioed the ref assessor.
On my way back to the field, the ref assessor was coming the other way from the field.
I told him what was said.
This clown seemed to have gotten pissed with me for reporting it.

My BB has a friend on that plays for this coach. They will tell you he is an a&@ hole, but he gets results, look at where they are at. I personally would not let my BB play for him, but they are winning and the parents don't seem to mind. That shows a lack of respect on his part IMHO.

Sporting's 01 team under Videla came in as U13s and pretty much dominated. This was because many of the top players were pulled into preacademy. Teams like FCD Premier and Solar Red ended the year I. Relegation, so their rise us no suprise.
As for the cussing, of course he shouldn't do it but your bbs are hearing it from players on the field as well. You can't control everyone and everything! Recording sounds interesting but it's part of the world we live in.

LOL! Of course not!
But, I do see his point.
I've heard a lot of "children" (11 years and up) cursing on these soccer fields.
I've seen only once, an AR interrupt a game and address this to the CR and of course to the kid.
I've seen it many times where the CR would stop and verbally warn or card a player for that crap.
There are many games where the refs will say absolutely nothing to the coach or child about profanity.
It should not be tolerated.
Period.
And yes, I do know that every sport does it.

A few modifications were made.
Now it's time to finish off this Fall season, play a few tournaments, and come out strong next Spring.
