Try viewing the "05 Boys looking" thread, several teams posted in that section. If you live within the Frisco driving limits I would consider FC Dallas.

Don't look for the best club, look for the best coach for your boy. A club name is not going to develop him.

If you're looking for outstanding coaching contact Coach Vin Crispino at FC Dallas. Search on this site, you will find feedback from others and their opinion about his coaching style.

Agree, every club seems to have some good and some bad coaches. If you have anybody in particular in mind after some research use the forum to inquire. As said in a previous post, you will get all kind of opinions, but these will be better than no input. And you probably should mention what you are looking for in a couch, including values. They all will tell you they are development, but only some truly mean it.

OsiOsi,
The 05 teams all have open rosters at this point, they can add players at will. This is actually a good time as many are starting to make plans for the winter indoor/futsal leagues. If your son is good enough, any / every team will invite him to continue to practice and play with them.
As far as which club is the best, there is no one right answer. At this point, your focus should be on your son. Which coach's style / approach best fits for his development, where does he get enough playing time, level of competition and team.
Finally, depending on your location and willingness to drive, team practice location could be a significant driver of the "best" team for you. If you are willing to share your location, I am sure you will get lots of suggestions as to the best developmental coach...

Very few coaches are in it for development. Win first, and if you happen to develop along the way, that is great. Classic League is a great place to play if you have these beliefs.

Many teams and coaches will let you come out and test drive a practice. Gives you a good chance to see all the beauty and some of the beasts around NTX soccer. Also recommend if you like the style of a coach - go watch a game and see the real thing because once a car salesman - always a car salesman.

Contact coach Vin Crispino with FC Dallas, I know a lot of people claim development but I have seen this coach in action and he does what he says.

As mentioned earlier, if you find teams and their coaches you might want to ask in the forum about what people think and/or know about them.
