I like those scrappy Texas Longhorns Gold 97 players I look for them to make semi-finals, finals, or win. They have done well in tournament play lately and have been working very hard to up their game for this coming soccer year.

The team with the most D1 players won but you guys saw already what I'm doing and Figo isn't. BTW congrats to Figo and his team for well deserved win today. As usual it was fun playing them and as usual we lost.

I'm gonna be a homer for a sec, and say how proud I am of the Texas Longhorns 97B team - beat a D3 team 5-0, and tied a D2 team 2-2. We finished 1st in our bracket, even though predicted to come in as the wildcard. The boys played really hard, and we were fortunate to have 3 great guest players with us. Made it all the way to the semi's against FCD Gold, but lost our composure in the 2nd half, causing what could have been a 1-0 loss to come out 4-0. Great job Longhorns!!
