D1/D2 - Interesting Week

D1: #1 Sporting United vs. LP Rush (Tuesday night)
#9 Ayses vs. #10 DTS (Weds Night)

D2: #3 Samba vs. #4 Solar (Tuesday night)
#1 Dallas America vs. #2 FCD Central (Weds night)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The D1 games could lock up #1 and #10. Sporting United has the opportunity move into the driver seat to win the league (and given LP Rush's poor showing at the Dallas Cup, this will be a tough task for Sporting United as I am sure LP Rush has a chip on thier shoulder). The loser between DTS/Ayses will surely be relegated to D2 next year????

The D2 games could make D2 wide open or lock down #1 and #2 for promotoion to D1 next year. Does Solar have enough in the tank to make it 2 upsets in a row and to make the end of the season really interesting or will Samba take the overall lead in D2 and position themselves for D1 next year? Can FCD Central avenge their end of the fall season loss to Dallas America, Dallas America is coming off a surprising upset when they loss 0-1 to Solar (only time this year Dallas America has failed to score a goal, I am betting they will put several in the net this week).

To continue the interesting week thread: Rush plays Andromeda on Sat and Solar and Sporting play. So by end of the week we could have a clear front runner or an exciting end to the season. Last game of season is Rush vs Solar.

D1:
Sporting will cruise by LP Rush 4-1.
DTS & PA easily beats the Ayses 2-0.

D2:
FCD Central 3 - America 2
Solar over Samba 1-0

D1 - Mexico 2-0 over Andro. Solar Red lost on a late goal 1-2 to FCD Pino

D2 - Solar 3-0 over Samba (could have easily been 6-0, solar hit the cross bar twice and had multiple other chance). After about 20 mins into the Game it was over.

Um...no....I mean 20 minutes in, Solar up 2-0 and then a Samba player throws a right hook. Ref and AR both saw it and red card was given. No complaints from any Samba parents nor Samba Coach on this call. So let's not make it sound differently than it was.....

LLP Rush vs. Sporting score. Well, well, well...... LP Rush has awakened after that poor showing in the Dallas Cup.
Let's see if LP Owen can do the same.

No complaints...simply an observation that the player was targeted and all but dragged down in the box...he should have kept his head instead it cost his team the game...point being that skill players are not protected and occasionally they have enough. Again, he should have kept his head but even if he had it seems unlikely he would have drawn the call that he should have.
