I just want to say good luck to all the independent teams out there in the upcoming season! stay strong cause i for one will be looking for my BB next season to playing with one! not that i'm not happy with my BB's current team but all these high prices are just so rediculous! club soccer is a "privilage" not a "priority" and these clubs ALL need to know it! there are alternatives and you can still play competitive soccer with an independent team! because regardless of what the clubs try and sell you on not one can gaurantee you anything except a loss on your bank account! LOL!

I have to agree with you. Wee bit ridiculous. It wasn't the price so much that makes me shake my head, but what you get for the price. Included in my BB contract was the undisclosed charge for practice fields? You got to be kidding me! We actually have to pay for the fields we practice on? Trust me, I've seen better fields in some third world countries. Wow. Second, we paid an amount in the couple of thousands and then there was.... oh yeah, this does not include uniform fees. Uniforms @ $350.00. They couldn't guarantee that the boys would wear the same uniform next year. Oh yeah, required with the uniform was a ball purchase. They required the purchase of a ball to complete the uniform order. Soccer store/club team conspiracy? lol!
