Would someone tell me about pre-academy for this age group?

What are the rules and when do clubs hold the try out? Thanks

the boys born jan-dec 2002 make up th u13 PA this year. good 03's can play up as well. that being said there is some talk about PA starting at U12 which would mean next June will be tryouts for 04. even if they don't start U12 next june, good 04's could play up to U13 PA. remembering that these are age pure teams.

Next year is U12DA for the '04 age group...'03's will be U13PA... so I'm guessing tryouts in June for each.

As June rolls around the clubs usually publish somewhere on their websites that they are having academy try outs. If you are already in a club with PA/DA they might call your son in for some invitation only practices before the open try outs so they can have a good look at who they already have inside the club.
