Texans are bringing 2 teams, FC Dallas 3 teams, LP 5 teams for U-14.

But, I'm predicting Dynamos FC out of Arlington League to win this age group.

Shame that the GFC/Dyno game was decided by the officials.
Another note....Why would a team bring 5 guest players to a warmup tournament and play them 90% of the time?

How about FC Dallas '02B White winning gold division, great tournament by that team.

Which team brought 5 guest-players?
And why shouldn't they?
It was allowed.

Dynamo brought 5 guest players and they played 90% of the time. It's allowed and I guess if you're trying to win a tournament at all cost rather than prepare for the upcoming season, that's their prerogative.
FCD White and LP Gerrard would have easily handled them in the Gold bracket.
At halftime of the GFC/Dyno game, the referees looked as if they were getting a mini clinic on the sideline during a 15 minute intermission with all the referees and tournament officials talking to them. They needed it, but it didn't do any good. One of Dynos goal should not had been allowed and GFC's goal that was taken away should had stood. 1-1 game would had sent GFC to the Final.
After the game I heard tournament officials at the tent tell the GFC coach that they knew there was an issue with the officiating and told him they were sorry, but nothing they could do about it.

Sorry to hear that.
Too bad that they all couldn't have been in one bracket and played semis, quarterfinals, and finals.

In other news, U-15 Gold finals pit Andromeda '01 vs LP '02 Thundercats.
Good game. They met that morning and tied 0-0.
By the next game, which was the finals, the size, strength, and speed of Andromeda won out.
But, it was a very good game.
Glad Arnold played these boys up.
Andromeda played very well and showed themselves to be well-behaved young men. Very good sportsmanship from them and their coach.
No smack-talking. And plenty of handshakes after the game.
