Solar 03 & 04 DA Open Tryouts

Solar will be hosting open tryouts for 03 and 04 Development Academy teams Tuesday the 10th and Wednesday the 11th from 6:15 -7:45 at John Paul II High School. These are open to any player born in either 2003 or 2004. There will be an additional training tryout session on Sunday the 15th with a time to be determined.

where do you usually practice and who is gonna be the coaches for both teams?

This is for the 03/04 DA teams. However, players and coaches from the two '04 D1 classic league teams should be present if you are interested in playing '03 Classic League D1. The '04 D1 teams will have a D1 '03 bye for next year. These sessions will be overseen by the director of coaching, Adrian Solca, so depending upon which team you are interested in you will be able to ask Coach Solca or the other coaches regarding future practice locations. The Classic league teams will likely not be practicing at the same location as the DA teams once they are set for the new year.

In addition to Tuesday May 10th and Wednesday May 11th sessions from 6:15 - 8:00, Solar and Adrian Solca will be running a third session Sunday May 15th from 10:30 - 12:00 at John Paul II High School for players born 2003 and 2004 interested Development Academy.

Not next week. The schedule so far is this Sunday the 15th from 10:30 - 12:00 at JPII High School and next Sunday the 22nd from 12:30 - 2:00 pm at Greenhill Academy.

There will be pool tryouts again this week on Wednesday 6:15-8:00 at JPII and Subday 12:30-2:00 at Greenhill Academy.

So let me get this straight.....they are picking a team by committe, and an inconsistent one at that....yet they don't have a clue who the actual Coach will be???? What if the kids that have been picked by others don't fit the coaches playing style? Typical with these clubs they wait too long to make these decisions and then they put the cart before the horse. Sounds like problems waiting to happen to me.

Trying out and hoping it just all works out. Why doesn't Adrian do it? Don't worry we are the best at development. We just are looking for a coach but he will be awesome

I think if they told you who, many kids will run the other way. I heard there are many unhappy kids/parents coming from one of the solar teams. For me, I'd like to know who will be leading the kids before I join. --Buyers beware! --

If the coach from one of the team (not Red) becomes the coach again ... I bet many of the current kids will leave.
