Tuesday Night's Results '02 Boys

DT South 2 vs Solar Stricker 2 (I missed a very good game. Looking at how So-Strick has been shredding "almost" every team, this tie feels like a DTS win!!!).

Odyssey 4 vs Real GP 0 (ODY must've had their full roster out there. Real GP played and dominated DT South a few weeks back before DTS was able to score 2 goals with only 2 1/2 minutes remaining).

Cruz Azul 3 vs LP RUSH 2 (2 good teams that will get better).

TONIGHT (Thursday 11-17-2016) Predictions:
FCD 4 - Solar Castro 1
Solar Sawyer 1 - LP Hunt 1

Real GP seemed fine.  Game mostly back/forth. They just let up some goals out of nothing.

Whats the takeaway after the 1st half? It appears 1-4 have separated themselves somewhat, and 5-9 are all competitive. Agree, or are the standings misleading?

1-2 have a nice cushion, but there is a bunch of soccer left to play, so who knows... I expect Solar Gold to climb - and FCD to make a run for the top spot... Speaking of FCD, any news on the Dane vs Castro match last night???

Despite huge GDs at the top, its a more competitive league than last year.  IMO.  And largely dominated by freshman.  But some of that competitiveness is just the removal of the two overmatched Texans teams from last year.    Speaking for Ody, 11 of our 12 games have been competitive (smashed by FCD).    Our games against the bottom teams have been a lot like our games against the top teams, with roles reversed.   Lower ranked team doing a lot of pretty decent stuff, looking better than higher ranked team at times, then just a few goals for higher ranked team and game over.   In the end, mid-table seems about right for Ody.   Top 3 teams pretty clearly the top 3 teams.
