But only if you've gone through puberty and are at least six inches taller than your peers and at least 20 pounds heavier. And in the end, it won't really matter. The team will still finish near the bottom.

Due to expectation of bad weather, the session this evening (Thursday, May 18) is cancelled.

Personal experience for one season with this coach. Two undersized kids that played in the beginning on a team co-coached by this coach and another. As the season wore on, minutes diminished in favor of his own bigger and slower players, which just so happened to coincide with the club telling him he would be the sole coach going forward. He actually told me to my face that bb was too small and needed to grow. When half the team moved on at the end of the season, he begged us to stay and tried to feed us some line about how bb was an essential part of the core of his team. Blah, blah, blah. Both of those undersized players moved on to Solar Red, a nationally ranked team, and started every game for the next 4 years, so clearly not lack of skill or ability. Just one coach who thought bigger was better.

Yep, when Ray Ray forced out Nuno and took over the team, we were dominating the entire league and bb was scoring a ton of goals. Then, he fiddled with the lineup, changed our formation and the team never returned to their winning ways. We left because of Ray Ray. We didn't need him to get where we were going!
Also note that he is a daddy coach extraordinaire. If he has a son on the team, he will play whether he's earned it or not.

Forgot about Finish. His bb was in the same boat as the other two. Like Finish said daddy coach extraordinaire. His bb may not be that big now but he was bigger than ours at the time and he was the coach's son. Given a spot at the last minute after we were all told he would not be on the team.

Same thing happened in DA this season. Better players benched by ZuaZua to give Deleon playing time. Daddy has connections and politics as usual.

Ah, that makes sense now. Same scenario, same result.
Yes, we were running Nuno's 4-4-2 that was super strong back to front with a diamond in the middle. Then, Ray Ray switched to a 4-2-3-1 and his famous "squeeze" formation that I never liked because it opened up 1v1 counter attacks if the play switched field (which happened often).
And, oh, but there is more. Lots more.

ET, I forgot all about that. Yes, we were told his bb wasn't going to be on the team, then he suddenly showed up and things started to change. It was funny watching him play because there was this super speed for about 10 minutes (or less), then a massive slowdown in pace. No real skill or style of play, just full blast speed or almost completely turned off.

Stay away from this coach who says the right things but has no clue what he is doing and can be easily manipulated.
