Update SDL 02B Week7 Scoresheet

Here are the standings after week 7. Some teams will wrap up their seasons this Saturday and some have 2 more weeks of play. Still missing several scores for D2 teams so those standings leave a bit to be desired.

Fall Standings after Week 7

My thoughts:

1. Congrats to FCD Blue for drawing with Solar Dynamo K. A strong result against one of the top tier teams in this age group.

2. Congrats to DT Adloo and TFC for the draw; both teams earn their first point of the season. These teams have struggled this season in D1 so hopefully this was more fun for the boys.

3. Teams 2-8 are separated by 3 points in the standings with 4 of those teams still having 2 games to play. We will see a lot of movement in the standings over the next 2 weeks.

4. Great games this coming weekend? I think there are a few...

Liverpool vs. DT South could be a good game, but frankly, if Liverpool plays like they did this past Saturday this game will not be competitive. Would like to see them return to their form from a few weeks ago. I have a bad feeling about this one...

AYSES vs. Solar Dynamo K should be a great match. I wish I was motivated enough to go watch this, but at 8am... well, I'm not really a morning person. AYSES continues their end-of-season gauntlet against the top 3 teams.

DT Adloo vs FC Dallas Copa Snell is a match of teams looking for their first win. I think FCD Copa plays good soccer, but is being overmatched by North Texas Kickball. At least, that's what I witnessed this past Saturday...

5. I think I use ellipses too much...

6. I will start taking naps on Sunday afternoons instead of watching the Cowboys--a much better use of my time.

7. I'm looking forward to watching Cliff Lee pitch against the Yankees. Yes, because it's Cliff Lee in the playoffs and I hate the Yankees, but more importantly because he works fast on the mound. I loathe the 4 hour baseball game. Oh, and also, Lee's ability to pitch 9 innings will ensure Ron Washington doesn't over-manage the game like the 8th inning disaster in game 1.

Nice job keeping up with this Debit. It will be an interesting last 2 weeks of the SDL season.
