Well looking in here I notice the powerhouses are not in. Where's Dynamo and DT South?
No clear cut favorites here. I can see the strongest team here is FC Dallas Premier. They should win it all.

Ok. Would you still take that position with such confidence if you knew that solar orange and maroon = solar dynamo? There may be some more teams in the mix that might surprise you.

Re: Prime Time Winter Blast Predictions
Last Primetime tournament there were some issues with solar Dynamo.

What do you mean by "issues" ? Just curious.
I think the tournament has some good teams and look for the Solar Dynamo Teams, the FC Dallas Team, the Aces Black team and the Odyssey team to move on to the second day.

So now they they are using code names? What's wrong with just Solar Dynamo? But since I know Dynamo is in the mix than you know they will be tough. But which one? Doesn't matter cause they share players anyways.

In the Primetime Thanksgiving Shootout tournament there were some comments about the solar dynamo team double dipping top players from 2 teams in silver and gold in order to get both teams to the final...don't know if true.

Re: Prime Time Winter Blast Predictions
It was legal for them to do so b/c there was a Gold and Silver division. This tournament has only one 02 division so it will not be allowed this time. This is according to Primetime rules. They did nothing wrong in the last tournament, but if it's done this time it will be illegal. Pretty sure this coach will not do any funny business.

Re: Prime Time Winter Blast Predictions
Why is this not just 3 groups of 4 teams with one wildcard team? I hate crossover brackets as they don't allow for any tiebreaker in head to head. There are 12 teams signed up and yet they're doing crossover brackets? Makes very little sense to me. To those that are saying "it could be they are waiting for more teams to sign up" I say...set it up for what you have and change if you need to. Anyway, my team isn't playing but I'd have an issue with this setup.

Don't think the fields will be playable for this tournament.

Re: Prime Time Winter Blast Predictions
I predict that no one will win. I predict the tournament will be cancelled and everyone will lose half of their entry fee.
Wonder if they have any of that weather insurance that the Legacy Freedom Cup says that they purchased.

I talked to Primetime today and asked them if the tournament was still happening and they said that they were still planning on playing, but that it would be dependent on the city allowing them to use the fields.
They also said that they would be getting their rainout policy out to everyone as soon as possible.
From past experience, I remember their rainout policy being better than most. They are very customer oriented and will do what they can to make it right.

Re: Prime Time Winter Blast Predictions
Don't see any way this is going down. Its going to be freezing through Sat afternoon and may snow more Friday.
In the past you got 75% of your entry fee as credit towards another PTS event. Which seems more than fair, at least relatively. Now I just have to get all the delinquent parents to give me $30 each for a non-existent tourney.
