99 QT Scores

Looks like they have a bit of a problem with the Got Soccer setup... the points are not adding up properly in the standings portion of the tourney....

I'm sure they are hearing it from someone... we'll see how long it takes to fix.

Yeah, they gave two teams a 12 point win in a 10 point system.

yup, and another 10 points when they had a goal scored on them....

when setting up Got Soccer you plug in the "points" system and how it calculates scores.. Looks to me like they have not told it to only add up to 3 for goals, and it is confused on the shut-out calculation...

no worries though.. someone should be able to jump in there, fix the calculation formulas, and it will recalculate all the scores and work itself out....

One of the many thrills that comes with running a tournament. I hear the director now... "I will personally choke the life out of the next person that comes up to me and tells me the points are wrong!!!"

I believe they call it the Texans scoring system. They get extra 2 points for first win in bracket.

I guess the DFW Tornados joined the Texans since they got 12 points also

It looks to me like they are giving a point for every goal scored. I wouldn't call it the Texans scoring system...

But according to the rules, it's a 10 pt system...they will get it corrected soon, I'm sure...

Yes, I agree that it is incorrect but my point was that they are just giving to many points for goals scored...sorry for the confusion...

Yep, what they are doing is giving 1 point per goal up to 5 goals instead of 3. This is where the 11 and 12-pointers are coming from on some games. I'm sure it is a simple setting in the SW that will be corrected once someone from the league reads this thread Very Happy

I saw all of the second half and Boca could not get the ball over the center line. There were a couple great saves by the Boca team. Clearly Solar was the better team, just could not get the ball in the net.

Looks like they got in there and tweaked the Got Soccer... all points are correct now..

the Boca jr team did not even get one shot on goal the entire game! Solar Red had a ton of shots on goal but no dice! they hit the crossbar at least 4-5 times they did however move the ball around the field well!
DT vs Andromeda- DT scored the first two goals within 3 minutes from the start!!!!!! and then they added a goal here and there, great ball control also! there was one attempt at a bicycle by a DT player looked great but the goalie made a great save! still the effort was astounding!
