Ended in a 0-0 tie. Most likely means that Tlapehuala makes it into challenge...

IF they get an invitation. My understanding is that teams have to be invited to the tournament. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. Just because they finish in second place does not mean they get an automatic berth. Based on the scrutiny of this team, I don't think it is a given that they get in.

Yea, except that the same could probably have been said for CDI a couple of years ago and they made it thru just fine...I mean there's always the possibiity that someone's able to prove that they have overaged players but a rather slim one I'd think.

Re: PPL tfc white vs teupuala
I agree. But putting that issue aside, the conduct of this team is inexcusable. They accumulated five yellow cards (two resulting in a red) in only two games against us this year, and there could have been at least two more cards issued that weren't. I imagine they didn't decide to behave in that way only against us, so the league is probably looking at double-digits in card issuance. They regularly begin games short-handed because their players can't seem to make it to the game on time. It is a pattern of behavior that can't be overlooked. The coach could correct the behaviors, but it is clear he doesn't think there is anything wrong with it. No league wants this type of team in their ranks.

I think there were 4 yellows given in the game against Nationals but I wasn't paying THAT close attention...

Re: PPL tfc white vs teupuala
That makes 9 yellows in only three games. At that pace, they are on track for 60 cards over the full 20-game season. Most teams have a handful of cards or less for an entire season. I posted it after our first meeting with this team last fall and I'll say it again. They are the dirtiest team I have ever seen at any level of soccer.

If that is the case then they should be paying some fines and visiting NTX soon.
1. Youth Association Teams
a. When, during the current soccer year, the players/coaches/assistant coaches of a given team have accumulated a total of seven (7) send-offs in league play (including red cards issued as a result of an individual receiving two yellow cards in a single game) or any combination of cards totaling twenty-five (25) the Member Association and/or Playing League shall notify the team and the State A & D Committee. The team will be fined $100 payable to NTSSA within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of the seventh send-off or any combination of cards totaling twenty-five (25). The coach and the players of said team may also be required to appear before the Member Association and/or Playing League Disciplinary Committee to explain the team’s continued misconduct. I f desired, the Member Association and/or Playing League may waive the holding of a local hearing and refer the matter to the State A&D Committee. Failure of the Member Association or Playing League to notify the State A&D Committee within fourteen (14) calendar days of a team’s seventh send-off or any combination of cards totaling twenty-five (25) will result in a fine of $100 per week for each week such notice is late. Red cards or send-offs assessed against that team’s spectators or against that team during tournament play will be reviewed to ascertain team misconduct tendencies.
b. When the players/coaches/assistant coaches of a given team have accumulated a total of four (4) send-offs in a tournament (including red cards issued as a result of an individual receiving two yellow cards in a single game) Tournament Officials shall notify the team and the State A & D Committee. The team will be fined $100 payable to NTSSA within thirty (30) days of receiving notice of the fourth send-off. The coach and the players of said team may also be required to appear before the committee to explain the team’s continued misconduct. Failure of Tournament Officials to notify the State A&D Committee within fourteen (14) calendar days of a team’s fourth will result in a fine of $100 per week for each week such notice is late. Red Cards or send-offs assessed against that team’s spectators or against that team during league play will be reviewed to ascertain team misconduct tendencies.

Re: PPL tfc white vs teupuala
Someone with a friend on Plano PD needs to get their friend to pull over the goalie after he drives away from their next game for a license check. That will determine if he truely is a 13-14 year old or indeed a licensed 15-16 year old. That might have some determental effects on the team & their chances in being invited to the qualifier.

Re: PPL tfc white vs teupuala
The last time he drove away from a game he was laughing at us like it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Why let his parents drive him now? Just keep up the hilarity. The joke is on us, right?
At least one benefit to their team though. If they do get invited to the Challenge Tourney, he can drive a whole truckload of players to the games. Maybe then they'll all show up on time.
