I'm not a fan of Liverpool, but I happened to catch their games the last couple weeks. Suarez amazed in both.

The play @1:37 in this video is unreal. He megs his defender, beats a second guy, beats a third guy, and then megs the goalie for the assist. All in a split second and a tiny space.

He's got plenty of competition in that category.

Seriously though I don't see too many Dutch league games. I guess he played with Ajax before he came to Liverpool. He was footballer of the year last year in that league.

But it feels like something's going to happen every time he gets the ball.

Didnt he play for Argentina in the world cup and get ejected for a goal saving hand ball

It was Uruguay that Suarez played for in the Cup, and yes, he famously swatted down the goal in the final minutes of the match against Ghana.... and was sent off.... and the Ghana player missed the PK.... and Uruguay advanced.

I'm not a huge fan of his, but like you I was majorly impressed with that goal he created in the Liverpool v Man U match you linked to. He played great in that game.. and since I am a Chelsea fan, sworn to poop on Man U whenever possible, I loved that match.

Liverpool needed some help there and Suarez has definitely sparked them to better play. I thought Andy Carroll was a great buy as well, He hasn't seen much time because of injury if I'm right... but that guy can make stuff happen.

Suarez was suspended for the next game which Uruguay lost to Holland in the semifinals. He had scored 3 goals in Uruguay's run.

Man U got dominated for sure.

Carroll came in late and made a couple of nice plays in the short time he was in. Liverpool got a lot better by bringing in those two.

I'm enjoying the climb of Liverpool back into the top...half of EPL. I was able to see this match and you can easily say that Suarez was THE man. Fernando who?? Laughing
