NATIONALS FC INVITED TO THE CLASSIC QUALIFIER

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW THIS HAPPENED. WE FINISHED 3rd IN PLANO.

My guess would be all the talk about pre-academy and maybe even the Andromeda issue and not all teams being able to field teams to take their bye's. 3rd place from Arlington is in the accepted teams list too.

there are 3 Arlington teams too...1st-3rd place. Millenium, West Texas United and Real GP. I think they must be inviting 1-3 in most brackets - I heard it was the same in 96 bracket anyways. All of us are listed as accepted teams in the Memorial Day so it would seem everyone is showing up.

There are 8 total teams in two brackets (2 D3, 3 PPL, 3 APL). This is different than past years where 6 teams all played each other once and the top two in points qualified for the D3 classic invitation. So are the two semifinals winners going to be those two, or is there a chance more than two might get an invitation? Do not like the fact that there are two brackets and each team will not have to face every other team involved to earn an invitation.

I predict TFC Blue vs. Millennium in the finals with TFCB prevailing.

I wish someone would give us an official explanation as to how it will work...hopefully at check-in Thursday night but who knows...it also doesn't look like each of the age groups are set up the same way - some of them are playing each team. Maybe the 3rd place teams didn't accept the invitation in other ages so there aren't 8 teams like the 97's.

It's hard to believe that this weekend is finally here...the boys have played hard all year to finally make it to challenge...TFC Blue is ready!
