That West Tx tam is big and physical, we played tham last fall. I'm surprised they let such a huge lead slip away. That says a lot about the resolve of the TFC team.

cheers Finally!!!!! The boys have earned it for sure...scored over 100+ goals in league play, played in 6 tournaments this soccer year and won 5 of the 6, and were deemed co-champions in the 6th due to weather cancellation. We're very proud of them!!!

Congrats to TFC Blue. Guess it help when some of the TFC white tranfer over, making the team stronger. They will be a tought team to beat.

On the other hand FCD Silver lost all three games. Bit suprise.Strong showing for Andromeda Navy this team showed alot heart throughout the season since the coach decided to resign right after the parents sign their contracts last year. Guess he saw the finicial troubles coming.

Nice showing by the third place teams from PPL and APL that were invited. I like the eight team format with the playoff format.

Dude...don't try to take anything away from our boys by implying or making it seem that we needed help to do what we did this weekend. Yes, those 3 boys were amazing assets to our team once they joined us March 31st and we were thrilled to have them but we were already in by then...had a very short bench and needed the subs. They fit in like they had been part of our team for a very long time.

Our boys have fought hard to get where they are and earned every goal, win and trophy they've gotten this year. It's been an amazing ride for TFC Blue and we couldn't be prouder of them.

Thanks for the backwards compliment though I guess.

I am assuming your affiliation is with one of those third place PPL or APL teams based on your comments above, which don't really make any sense. Third place in PPL managed just one win in three games against a winless Andromeda Navy team, and got waxed 8-0 by bracket winner TFC Blue. Third place APL had a nice preliminary round at 2-1-0, losing the bracket to Millenium by just one goal in the bracket's final game. But in the semis they didn't come close with a 4-0 loss to TFC. Just give respect where it is due and focus on next year for your son's team.

WOW.......TFC Blue folks are a little hypersensitive Mad
Do not speak directly with TFC Blue and never ever make direct eye contact with TFC Blue.
Don't deny that players were transfered right before the deadline to bolster the roster. They were moved and they were good players, but Blue probably didn't even need those transfer to advance. They were and are a good team.
CONGRATS to the boys and you parents should relax. This is a stupid A$$ forum board and this is not the world cup.

Just to state my affiliation, I am in no way connected to TFC. I just thought DownTown's comments were absurd.

And by the way Toe, if you have a child in soccer you know every game is like the World Cup to you. Don't try to deny it because I see your Parent Goggles hanging around your neck. Shocked

Sorry to the parents of the TFC Blue that got upset or offended with my Embarassed comments about the three transfered bench players.

The irony of the whole challenge cup is FCD Silver came in last place, but the team is going to be in D-2 next year anyway plus FCD is adding another D-3 via transfer Andromeda.

Making some very Evil or Very Mad or Very Happy
