DI

  • Solar Red - Starting off strong - heard they did not have alot of turnover - should be strong contender for top spot this year
  • Texans Red - Not sure home much turnover this team had - started off with a tie against a very good Revolution team - expect them to finish in top 5 but possible they might not given strong competition
  • TFC - Added a large number of new players - play high octane offense - will face tough competition to finish as well as last year (#3)
  • Longhorns - Add new players - lost a few key players - expect them to be a tough team again this year and challenge for top 5 spot
  • CDI - Are they the most improved team year over year? Lots of new players from what I hear including some from old Kicks FC team - will challenge for top 5 spot
  • Revolution - They have done very well lately beating TFC and TLSC/AYSES in AYSES Summer Classic and tieing Texans Red in first week of league play - will challenge for top 5 spot
  • TLSC/AYSES - Team returned in tact from last year - still have lingering injuries with players and not as deep bench as other teams - solid team overall with chance to challenge for top 5 spot
  • FC Dallas Blue - Heard no big impact from FC Dallas Academy - expect to finish in 6 to 8 spot for year or higher - heard they have strong team and played Longhorns hard last week-end was closer than score shows
  • Texans Red West - May have lost some key players from last year - may struggle again to finish above 9th place
  • Andromeda - Lost some key players to Andromeda Academy and other teams - expect them to struggle again this year to finish above 9th place
DII

  • Texans Longhorn Orange - Has around 6 players from old Andromeda Red team along with some really good pick ups - expect them to fight for top 2 spots
  • West Texas United - Very tough and physical team expect them to fight for top 2 spots this year
  • Texans White - Maybe the most improved team from last year looks like alot of their key players stayed and they added new talent - maybe a contender for top 2 not sure
  • Andromeda Red - Retained around 7 players from old Andromeda Red team not sure about their pick ups - They did well in recent Dr. Pepper tournament loosing to Solar Red 4 to 0 - not sure what that means in terms of team strength with TFC tieing Texans Longhorns Orange in AYSES Summer Classic - right now the Longhorns look stronger based on that result against top DI teams
  • Hurst United - not sure about this team after seeing results from Dr. Pepper tournament - maybe a middle of pack team
  • DFW Tejanos Premier - maybe not as strong this year? middle of pack team instead of pushing for top 2 spot - we need to see more results
  • DFW Tejanos Elite, FC Dallas, Fortis FC, and Club Classic West will play the spoiler role for a team who is not consistent week over week in their play

One (1) player went to Andro Academy - and while he will be missed, it was only one. Other players went to various Classic league teams.
