Exactly how many of them are falling apart? I have seen posts about the Texans, Solar, Andro, FC Dallas (all pre-academy) and other that could all potentially lose a team? Will Classic League even be Classic League next year? Who is going to replace these teams? Just anyone they can find? Wink

Classic League "bye" registration deadline is July 13th. The answers to those questions should be answered shortly after that.

That would be an interesting move if they did. Any reason for it?

Find it hard to believe that CL would just walk away from 30K per age group per year and give it to PPL and APL. Thats almost a quarter mil.

Help me to understand how it changes the landscape? The big clubs with too many teams per age group will still be populating CL, APL and PPL... If you reclassified CL DIII to PPL/APL DI, does it really change anything?

I don't have an answer but no it will not change a damn thing but I wouldn't pay fees for a big club in APL or PPL better to just play with an independent at that point! Shocked

Yes, my bb's team would be affected by this move. I would hate for it to happen. Those boys set a goal, worked hard and achieved it so it would be a big disappointment for all 16 of them. They want to play different teams on different fields with better competition...I hope they keep it around. Sad

So the Bye registration has passed. Anybody have information on what teams from CL will not be back this coming season?
