Those first two D1 games should tell a lot about the fate of those 4 teams. Could be a long fall for Tejanos if they start with three losses. But does Solar have enough this year to hold them off? The Arias team is really a new mix, and I think most were expecting Pumas to handle them last week. This game against the Kicks could tell a lot about how far they go.

Really interested in the Babel v Azzurri game in D2. Should be the game of the week in that Div.

Well, I haven't seen enough of the competition to start predicting results. What I depend on you guys for...LOL.

If Azzurri wins the next 2 or 3 then I can say they are a legitimate contender.

Azzurri didn't deserve to win. What happens when you have several miss practice.

Absentee midfield and brain farts in the backline.

Liverpool had decent backline. Other than a couple of defenders, I wasn't impressed.

Played very direct. Depended on size to win.

I watched the game while doing my volunteer duties for CL. Not the usual style of play for Babel. Normally better ball movement and possession, looked like an off game for them. Babel defense played a physical game.

This is the first time I've seen Azzurri play. Based on what I saw, they were having an off game as well. Don't know if it was the Babel speed or something else. I'll have to catch other games to see if I'm off in my opinion.

Still early. Lots of time between where they stand now and where they'll finish.

'me', I wouldn't say Azzurri had problems with Liverpool's "speed." There were a couple of solid Liverpool defenders. I didn't see any Azzurri players being blown away.

In fact, Azzurri's main forward got behind Liverpool's backline on several occasions. (With the ball at that.) Creating 'something from nothing' as they say.

Azzurri was missing a couple of key players. A defensive mid and a centerback.

I can't comment on Liverpool babel's usual style of play.

I will say that this was Azzurri's worst performance yet this season.

I didn't see AI getting blown away, although I did expect more attack from them. From my perspective, it looked like Babel had more opportunities than AI, they just couldn't capitalize.

Look forward to a Spring rematch. Hopefully all players will be healthy and both teams will bring their best game. Should be fun to watch.

Not what I meant. Just didn't think babel was particularly fast. They had some physically mature defenders. If they have a strong attacking corps, they must have been absent.

Azzurri's linkup play/ballwinning in the midfield was their key problem. Forwards can't do much without good service from the midfield.

No, but I notice that once again the FWFC score is delayed, just like in the first two weeks. Their manager doesn't have phone service on Saturdays maybe?
