Very surprised by FCD East results thus far. I thought they would challenge for 2nd or 3rd in division. Still time to get there.

With the number of boys that are in the Texans' "school", the number of practices associated with those attending, the addition of the Bandits' bye and the Bandits players that cascaded players from Texans Maric to Texans Craft to Texans Connell...why would they not be able to be competitive?

Just surprised because it was said that FCD East had picked up some new talent and were gonna be stronger than last year.

Agree, but how many new players did they add, and over 3 months together now, dont think they will but would hate to see this team slip down to D2 next year

Anyone know why it is taking so long for the scores to be posted this year. Last year they were posted immediately after they were called in--by the end of the day at the latest. This year it is taking 24-48 hours before they are posted. What gives?

You get what you pay for. All volunteers. It's on their schedule, not ours, unfortunately.

If you dont have the time to get the scores posted in a timely manner why volunteer? cheers

I believe we have a different commissioner this year. She also has more than one division to take of but I have to agree that Julie last year was exceptional in updating the website as well as communicating with the managers.

Uhh...yeah...that's the criteria when we are looking for commissioners. "Can you post scores in a timely manner?" Laughing

Why do we volunteer? For the kids...not for parents like you who live vicariously through them. I'd be willing to bet that the kids don't care if it's 24 or 48 hours. Rolling Eyes

That took way longer then I expected for a "volunteer" to come on here and mention something about kids and try and shut the complaints down....usually takes less than 30min. Shame on all of you.

So your telling me posting the scores within 24 hours is impossible. Sounds like someone is just being lazy, or probably too hungover to deal with it till Monday, and yes Happy some kids do want to know the scores before wednesday believe it or not
