I agree with all these picks, but I'll say Babel only wins by 2, and Waco by 1.

A little different take. Hurst is frustrating to play against. Azzurri, Ayses, Babel all win big.

TFC held strong against Tigres until late in the first half when Tigres scored there first goal. You could see once tigres scored there 1st goal, that the game was over once that occurred. The TFC Players just put there heads down and quit..................Extremely disappointing.

Watched Dallas Texans v FC Dallas. Had no dog in the fight. DT has to address center mid IMO Several opportunities to create but settled for ball over top to double-teamed fwd. A lot of kickball

Re: Week 6 predictions
Azzurri 1, TFC 1
Azzurri once again underachieved the predicted (and likely) result.
1st half was fairly even in terms of chances. 2nd half Azzurri outshot and outpossessed.
TFC spent the last 15-20 minutes platooning in subs...playing for a draw.

TFC was NEVER a threat to ever score it was more like Tigres just missing shot after shot and just sunk in 3 but it should have been alot worseSoccerGenius99 wrote:omega striker wrote:Tigres 3 TFC 0

Re: Week 6 predictions
Laimport you hsve it completely wrong on TFC vs. Azzurri. TFC did not spend the last 15-20 minutes platooning in subs and playing for the draw. TFC had several good chances in the 2nd half as did Azzurri. The correct analysis would be to give both teams credit for playing a good game instead of saying Azzurri underachieved. It was a close game that could have gone either way.

TFC had several opportunities to score but the ball didn't bounce in there favor. TFC held strong against Tigres but couldn't hold them off long enough.
Its obvious you watched a different game or maybe you just didn't watch the game at all.

Re: Week 6 predictions
Zenith, I think if you go back and look at the game objectively, you'll see (or should) that Azzurri had several "near misses" and certainly had more chances than TFC.
Add up the times that Azzurri got into the penalty area, beat defenders, shots on goal, etc. etc. etc....
Your post seems to imply that the teams were "evenly matched". Not the case.
If you look at the season to date standings and head to head competition, I think Stevie Wonder could figure out that Azzurri is clearly a superior team.
And I seemed to remember a lot of substitutions on TFc's end. Especially the last 15 minutes.
So, go ahead and keep drinking that parental kool aid...

That's funny! "Superior" teams don't settle for ties.....

Re: Week 6 predictions
Like is stated before I don't have a dog in the fight. I just love to read the posts. I just find it funny that the same person writes every week about how good Azurri is and how it always Azzuri's fault they didn't win. They are kids. They are not consistent. That's why we play the games. I think you may be the kool aid drinker. Superior teams dont settle for ties. Superior teams don't make excuses. You seem to have one every week. Good luck in the future and hopefully one day your team will play to the level of your expectations.

Re: Week 6 predictions
Really? Did you watch the game? Personally, I could care less how the team does. I'm just posting my thoughts just like everyone else does.
"Superior teams don't settle for ties". I agree.
The team performance isn't always a reflection of the scoreline.
The very fact that I'm not happy with a draw, or even playing for a draw reinforces that fact.
I don't comment every week on "how good I think Azzurri is".
I'm not the one making the actual predictions either.
I'm more concerned with how my son plays. That's it. If Azzurri doesn't serve its purpose...time to move on.
Inferior teams, when outmatched, DO settle for ties.
And that's exactly what TFC did.
By the way, their goal was offside. The AR was 10-15 yards behind the play. That's not an excuse. That's a fact.
If you add some substance to your arguments, then you might have more credibility.
