Looks like TFCR and Tejanos may be a little stronger than I gave them credit for based on recent outings. Still no reason to think Tejanos will climb out of the cellar though. TFCR may be top 5 after all. I think the Tigres-Pumas tie suggests that both of them will only be in the second 5. As I expected, SR and Andro played even, so I think SR may have improved to top 5 level for this year. Still wondering about DT, not a big win but a win. I'm guessing Solar, DT, Andro, SR & TFCR are your top 5, with Solar still no. 1 and a blanket over 2-5.

Gonna jump into the 98 pool and see if I can confirm something I just heard. I was told that the 99 kid playing up on solar is running things and already dominating the 98s. He is a very good player but must admit I was a littlle shocked 98 Boys Results from Sunday's games Icon_eek

He is a very good player... he also plays on a team that is very very good. He was going to make an impact to any team he would have signed with.

Heard top teams in D1 usually pick up only 2 to 3 but no more...
D2 teams lose and pick up many more
D3's ?

Which player on the Solar team are you talking about. We watched last Saturday and nobody really stood out. That whole team is pretty much even, strong throughout the field of play. Saw 2 new players but nothing to rave about.

In General it just gets more unstable as you move toward the lower elevations. Not to say that a D3 team never stays together, but the odds of a lot of turnover or a meltdown go up.

The reason for the movement is everyone thinks that their son or daughter is better, sometimes with reason and sometimes not. Others look for better coaching. The older they get more things come into play, school sports, lack of interest, kids burnt out, some teams just fall apart.
For the most part top teams can be picky and only get better while the bottom teams struggle to stay competive.
