00 Anyone else out there???

Anyone challenging the top five or six 00 teams??
1. Bandits
2. DT Pomykal (Dynamo)
3. Texas Toros
4. Solar Red
5. DT South
6. OC Wizards
ASG North seems to have closed the gap between them and the top five. FCD Figo is getting better (also heard top Tigres team joined up with them). FCD Spencer is also improving and heard good things about FCD Copa Snell (know Clarke). DT Densk may also be getting better??
Haven't seen any other DT, Andromeda, ASG, Club Classic, Comets, ASG, Liverpool, River Plate, Revolution, FWFC, Solar, TFC, Texas Titans, Dinamo or any other independent close the gap. Any thoughts???
By this time last year, there were well over twenty '99 teams who stood out from the rest, not so much for the 00's so far. There were only 3 or 4 '99 teams that came from no where to surprisingly make Classic D1.
Wish there were move PAL / SDL games played through now to have a better feel....

FC Figo has not merged/joined with any team. Same core of boys from Spring. Not sure I agree that there were 20 or so 99 teams who stood out from the rest at this point in the season. Don't have a dog in the hunt, but watched a lot of friends bbs play and the mix was about the same as the 98s and 97s..and now the 00s...

I agree with your picks, but I would put Solar red & Wizards ahead of toros IMO.

Bandits are a pretty good independent team.

As with all teams time will tell, nothing earth shattering with that statement. These teams just moved up to the bigger fields now so the scores in many of the games will start to become closer as the kids adjust. If your strictly speaking about the Bandits they have been as close as dominant as you can be according to their website and scores posted in gotsoccer. Not sure if they have lost a game this year, in PAL, SDL, or tournament. I would say that is pretty dominate.

Your right, that goes for every team right now. I'll tell you what if they get thru SDL season without a loss or tie then I will agree they are dominant. Good luck to all teams.

Agree, after looking at the top 5 or 6 teams on the list above I would say they all fall under the really good to dominate category. Should be fun to see them all play each other again over the next couple of weeks/months.

Toros vs DT South will be a very good game sunday, been looking forward to it for a while. Another good match up is Bandits vs OC Wizards in SDL this saturday. Lets hope the rain stays away so we can finally get some games in!

I really dont agree with the above post my ranking would be...
1. Bandits - they just win games.
2. DT Pomykal (Dynamo) have added players from DTS, but until they beat Bandits should be considered # 2.
3. DT South (have beaten Solar Red and all other teams regularly over the recent seasons, lost a close game with DT Densk, but one close loss does not wipe out all the last few years wins)
4. DT Densk (had wins this off season against DTS and twice Torros in tournament play - when playing as the Charging Rhinos, and also won a number of tournments this off season)
5. Solar Red (played DTS and Bandits closely in recient tourments, but came up on the short end both times)
then a step behind
6. Wizards
7. Torros
8. ASG
9. TFC
etc
But thats just my 2 cents.

Well soccerdad00, you'll get to defend your list right away. DT Densk plays Solar Red this weekend. This game will let you know whether they belong above Solar or not. Unfortunately, that is the only tough game on their SDL schedule outside of FCD Clarke/Snell games and since you put them there, TFC. The rest should be easy games for them is they are as good as you think.
As for the tournmanents they played in, they've had no competition and the one tournament they did play well in with competition (Kyle Owen), well they played U10 with 99's making up the core of that team.

Indy, the Densk team actually plays Bandits Black this weekend. The game against SR was last weeks rain out game.
Is the Bandits and Bandits Black the same team or 2 different teams?

Ahh, you're rigt, read the schedule incorrectly.... will have to wait for SDL to re-schedule.
I believe Bandits Black is their second team

If it is the same as last year for the Bandits it was two different teams. So DT Densk had a bunch of 99s playing with them this summer as Densk or Charging Rhinos? Is this how they went from getting beat pretty bad consistently 4-5 months ago and now they are being mentioned in the top 5?

lol...this is how all things get blown out of preportion and roumors start. The one tournament DT Densk had 99's playing with them was the Kyle Owen Classic.
All other tournaments not.
But lets all agree this, i am just a dad with a 100% biased point of view, so... (like the rest of us) and that should be taken into account. I have seen a lot of all the top teams in receint years so, in my completely honest (but lets agree not at all objective) point of view that is my ranking. It's probably worth as much or as little as all the others. And, I picked them 4th after DTS, who they did reciently beat but before Solar Red, its not too far off, and as all the top teams have had a lot of movement, just maybe its all a big guess afterall.

Just a question, not sure anything was blown out of proportion. Obviously they have new players and/or dramatically improved in a relatively short period of time or a little of both.

Looks like the rain will stay away and games will be played!
Expectations are high on the DT Densk now soccerdad! Have to take care of business against a "B" team.....
