CALL IN YOUR SCORES!!
Who are these managers? Fire them and get replacements. Let the guys who take the time to post scores on the board be responsible for calling in the scores. Ridiculous.

Those represent quite a leap ahead for the team. (They were strong in the fall with a +12 statistic) In the fall they went 2-0, and 0-0 against those two teams.R1 wrote:eddy13 wrote:D3.

The 5-0 is even more impressive when you take into account that, for league play, LP has not given up more than 1 goal per game previously which indicates they have a strong defensive team.

Re: 00 CL Week #11 Results
I think it indicates the need for a roster check . Kidding. We did that once during a tourney over the break, when some of the boys were just huge. Roster checked out, but I know it's easy to fudge those things. I tell my son that he will play against older kids in jr high and high school, and to get used to it. In AAU basketball we see kids who've been held back up to 2 years playing "6th grade" games when they are nearly or already 15 yrs old. Parents are purposely doing this to gain competitive advantage. Im not saying that's what happening with the sudden massive separation between aztecas and the rest of the league, I'm
Just sayin'.
By the way that game we did the roster check, the huge kids never got off the bench, and we lost 2-1 in extra time.

Jimulon6 - I see the same thing with my bb's Basketball that you do with yours. It is hard when my bb doesn't even come up to the shoulder of another player. Never mind the weight difference!
We have definitely been around the block a time or two on the boards about rosters and I would say that if their roster checks out then so be it. I like your comment about how they will play against older kids in HS and JH. So true! Eventually the size will even out and then the currently smaller kids might have an advantage having played against bigger (possibly better) players in their development years.

The Aztecas situation smells funny. I saw them play indoor and scrimmage, and this is not the same team. Their whole back line is different. Huge kids. As usual, it cannot be proven, but circumstancial evidence is there.
I feel bad for the team that would have been promoted to 2nd division instead of them.

If they made a few changes over the winter break and the players are legit, then they deserve to move up if they continue dominating the way they have in the first 2 weeks. No point in them staying put if they continue playing this way.

Has a roster check ever disqualified a team at any age or division level in Classic League? Ever ? Anyone? Buehler?

I believe ther was a team in the 00 group in D3 last year, Mitlan, I think was roster checked thier last game and caught with illegal players and booted from classic, and havent seen or heard anything about them since.jimulon6 wrote:Has a roster check ever disqualified a team at any age or division level in Classic League? I can't verify but I remember hearing the same thing about Mitlan from last year.

I don't know if what you guys are saying about Mitlan is true or not but I don't think that they got "booted" from the league. They finished in 9th place in D3 and were relegated. They did not play in the challenge tournament. I have no idea why they didn't play in the challenge tournament but I guess that it could possibly be for the roster violation y'all are talking about. Or maybe they just folded. The Andro team that finished in 10th place also did not play in the challenge tournament.
