Maybe, but I think Dallas Cup is now required to have a least one Dallas Texan team in the finals.

wouldn't be at all surprised to see a few questionable calls go their way. Dallas Cup 2010 XXXI Suspect

. Seen that Texans N texas soccer before and they will need more that questionable calls to beat the Brazillians. Maybe they will start only inviting teams that the Texans can beat.

I read the rules the other day on the Dallas Cup site and thought it said the Texans teams needed to be in 7th place or higher to get invited it might of said 8th. I noted at U-16 on Texans team from 8th place.
Just clarifying the rules here.

Technically - you could say they are tied, so those two wins probably cinched the deal.

It really diminishes the stature of Dallas Cup to allow the U/16 Dallas Texans Red West team to play in Dallas Cup.
This team is a true division 2 team. Formally Texans White - became TRW 2 years ago when HN combined TR and TRW and was able to bring up another team to fill the Div1 team void.
In there 1st year they had been relegated back to div 2 only to be brought back when Solar took there 94 team to academy and it opened up another slot and texans red west benefitted again.
Even now with a watered down Classic league div 1 ( do to several players going to academy) they are still in 8th and could be relegated again.
Somethings wrong with the system.
They will be punished by top notch teams. as most older classic league teams will be. lol!

Who knows if they'll be punished or not. Hell, as far as we know, they'll all be given a "bye" straight to the finals.
