Lost their opening game 3-0 to Germany. Dillon Powers got plenty of time as did Brek Shea. Almost forgot Jared Jeffery all played as good as you can expect from a 3-0 lose.

I thought of you when they were playing (of the small minority in these parts that was okay with the result). Those first two goals came too close together.

Yeah, We are in the Quaterfinals against Brazil. Boys came back with only 10 players from a 2-1 deficit.
Sorry I meant we Germans.

You mean the tourney was not cancelled after the US was eliminated.

BTW, are they showing any of the games on TV?

Not sure how far we will go because the team isn't that great. Most of the players were only 2nd or 3rd choice by the coach. Since the U20 WC is not integrated into the FIFA calendar because they play in Egypt and July/August is too hot to play the clubs didn't have to release the players for the tournament. So when the coach started to put his team together 15 out of 22 players declined or were forced to decline by their clubs. FIFA wasn't happy but the clubs had the argument on their side. Too bad for some of those players, might have been the only time to be part of such a tournament.

Bummer - I multi-task with my college football watching using that website. I think I tried to get my father's to work as well now that you mention it and he couldn't due to his ISP.
