FCD had their top 40+ '01s training together tonight. It was quite a sight at the FCD complex. Kinda festive, too. Seeing Bazan's, Pino's, Kangs', Waters', Che's, Vedrals', et al, boys kickin' it together, was cool. Coaches, everywhere, observing. The FCD '01 boys from all over the metroplex seemed to be having a ball. Lots of smiles after a brisk work-out.

Great weather and perfectly manicured fields. Parents and siblings buzzing everywhere. The only thing missing were the snack vendors.

Maybe something. Heard a rumor that there might be a shake-up in Plano Div. 1. Some issue with first place Bachman Lake using an illegal player(s) during the spring campaign. Plus, somebody said before that CL may find them ineligible bc they forfeited last year in th tournament. Might be kind of interesting to see how it turns out. At least its something going on and not nothing going on. Anybody know the real scoop with what is going on?

Could this unique training be remotely related to the U11 FCD preacademy team formation?

Do you think them training together will help the FC Dallas teams in the upcoming North Texas State Cup?

Was this age pure 2001's or just players who play on 2001 teams that were training together?

i bet that may 31 will find many things going on as players jump ship.....

I heard that FC Bachman Lake will be able to play in the challenge tournament. They were told last year that their forfeit was not willful, and would not be penalized this year. The hearing tomorrow night at NTX could affect this though I would think, depending on the ruling.

One way is for a player to be released from another competitive team to rec only, and then somehow that player ends up on another competitive roster.

play him when he isn't legal to play.

Options

1. he is not really an 01; or
2. he is not registered; or
3. he was released by another team and didn't transfer to your team but you signed him anyway;
4. he is not on your roster

i am sure that there are other reasons that a player could be illegal but those are the ones that i can think of right off of the top of my

Well usually you start him at forward and he scores lots of goals.

Rumor had it they had done the same in classic qualifying.
