I was at work but kept track of the game on my phone. It seemed that the US played well but losing to a 10 man Spain team when they had the lead is not good.

Did the Mexico team have a different keeper because the first game keeper did not perform well or did he bounce back like a brick wall?

USA up 1-0 on Malawi. Marlon Duran of D'Ville had a hand in the goal but it was just a mistake by the Malawi keeper.

US holds off Malawi 1-0. Marlon Duran is a heck of a player. I do not see why clubs are not looking more at him, maybe his size but a very good player in the mold of Javier Mascherano.

If you want to watch an INTERESTING game, check out the Germany vs. Nigera game on ESPN 360. You'll need a good internet connection, but well worth the watch....

Switzerland 1 - Brasil 0
I dont believe Brasil will make the second round, they only have 3 points, depends on the other games.

Did you see the Mexico game. Japan was all over them in the second half when Mexico scored their goals.

Yeah, I watched the game, Japan had a lot of chances, but they could not score, Mexico's keeper had 4 or 5 great saves. Both mexico goals were pretty good, especially the first one.

The first goal was very very nice an absolute perfectly placed strike.
