There will be two flights in U10 Boys - Gold and Silver flights. The following list enumerates the teams in alphabetical order assigned to each
flight:

I'm sure they are one of the best 8 teams. One would assume that if they end up in the Silver division, they want to be in the Silver division. Draw your own conclusions.

Wouldn't be shocked if they (SRSA) are be better than all. would be interesting to see though. rumour i heard is that in 3v3 there was slight disconnect between "omg disney champs" and beating boys their age, but don't know. the individual srsa 03 girls i have seen have been very skilled. imagine they would have been very welcome addition to Gold bracket from a competitive standpoint, but at least this saves BB the potential pain of going thru the "why did you let 40# pixie with pigtails embarrass you?" process that his overbearing parents would put him through. Or something like that.

I have a question. Why wouldn't the girls play in the girls division, in gold, or if thats not enough competition, up an age group or 2.

To me, as a parent of both boys and girls, it seems that the boys are in a lose-lose. If they don't play aggressively enough, or if they don't win parents/coaches/other boys/the girls could give them a hard time about losing to girls. If they win, "well they should of" its girls. Hopefully this isn't an issue, but if a girl gets hurt, the boys should of been more careful.

Also, for the girls parents, I would be concerned that the boys would be more sensitive to being down during the game, or even to just losing the ball to a girl, and resort to overly hard tackles, ect. My personal opinion is that tournament committee shouldn't of allowed it and the girls should play in the girls bracket, whichever age group/bracket they felt they needed, if there was space available. I've heard the North Texas girls are supposed to be the best, why not play with them? And I wonder if the tournament would allow an 03 boys team to play in the girls group? What would people say about that?

HA! You are about to see what passes for girls soccer. Late elbows, cheap shots, tackles after the ball is long gone. Watching LHGCL is appalling, to see so many blatant fouls shrugged off as business as usual, more like rugby games....
