Nahhhhhhh, I say it's karma. That one fluke win now becomes the same number of wins your Lopez team has, which ties you for bottom of the toilet bowl. In fact, both bottom dwellers have the same amount of goals for and against. On October 27th we can figure out which of the two will float to the top.

yep you are exactly correct but the difference is... Lopez NEVER predicted being a "top 5" team matter of fact he said the team would struglle and the fight would be to just stay in D1 but no worries here brotha from my premier based mutha we will climb out to at least the rim of the toilet within the next 2 weeks

Maybe they you too focus on weather the Liverpool coach would be leaving the game early. Can someone explain to me why Barcelona can't get the ball into the back of the net. It looks crazy to me, but I have seen them do it 4 of the 6 games this year. What gives?

FYI - DT Top 5 did not have any PA players helping out against Barcelona, there never has been. The boys are simply coming together.

We may want to slow down on the coming together predictions. Barcelona has always played some of the best soccer in the 99's and for some reason also some of the least consistent most unpredictable soccer also.

You are obviously a barcelona fan and that is okay they are a good group of boys. I was simply stating what the DT boys are working very hard for so dont be a hater and let them enjoy their moment.

definitely a big barcelona fan and actually wish you guys the best. Have a friend on the team that we want to see do well. I would say that the next match might show more as to where you guys are as a team and the lopez game could come down to a must win for staying in D1. Bringing a new group of kids together is never easy and then couple that with overcoming a bad coach and the boys definitely have their work cut out for them. Forget the moment, I hope the boys are focused and on to the next game.

It actually does not matter if they used PA players or not, I will let others talk about that. Bottom line is that Barca controlled the ball and just did not execute when they had chances to score. They created opportunities and that is what it boiled down to. First half line ref on the right side of field was so old and slow he missed two clear offsides from DT. Ridiculous. But congrats to DT kids and parents none the less, had to have felt good!!

We had advantage in time of posession but could not hit the back of the net but twice. We were up 1-0 and missed two after that. It would have been 3-0 at that point and that changes complexion of the game, but it did not turn out that way. DT grew more confident and it is what it is. Congrats to DT. As bad as I felt for Barca I felt good for those kids and their parents.

I believe what you are finding out is there is not a lot of difference between the middle of D1 and the middle of D2. There really isn't a large leap from the top of D3 to the top of D2. But, there is a huge difference between the top of D1 and the top of D2.


It's about playing great consistently. In the '99 age group Nuno has done the best job at getting consistent play from his teams from U11 to present.

I agree with that! Known Nuno for a long time and have to say he is consistent. Always been a fan of his teams. It's not just about recruiting its about how you make those recruits play your system and Nuno does a great job at that, even though some folks think he is crazy but hell everyone thinks I'm crazy too! I just love soccer!!!!

Barcelona is mid pack because they cannot be consistent. Their play can be too up and down to stay at the top of the table. I think the soccer at barca is often better than that of "newnose" but his team has the consistancy. his kids always come out and get in done no matter what. Thats what it takes to be at the top. As soon as he leaves solar he may get the recognition he deserves.

I agree, GO, Nuno deserves better. He's certainly earned his stripes...Kudos to him!
