FCD Gold is surging so kudos to them. After getting back to D1 via teams folding or turning down the bye, they have proven they can compete this year. Sad but probably good Texans did not get the bye to Dallas Cup and avoided a Tigres-like experience from last year.

Hate to say it but the all Hispancic Ref crew was not going to let Andro Red win that game. They kept Blue in the game with a phantom handball PK, then kept Blue on the attack with a 8-1 foul ratio call. Blue scored the tying goal on blatant handball that started the attack. But that is soccer in the big city and it won't be the last time.

Not sure what a "Hispancic" Ref crew means. If you had used the verbiage "Hispanic", it might have made a bit more sense with the racial profiling/racist rant. That said, good to know what type of parents are supporting the Andro team. Character is caught not taught and this post is very revealing of true heart.

My bb's team was playing at the same, one field over, since my bb couldn't play, I watched alot of the fcdb vs andro red game, the whole second half actually.
No thought that it was a close game, but I have to say that the ref did NOT help either team in any way! Or "keep" them in the game. Both teams came out to win, and it could of gone either way, but at the end, FCDB was the better team. Sometimes we just have to learn and accept things we don't like, of course no one wants lose.... Curious about the previous comment on Andro not making it in 3rd??? I thought the top 4 got in no matter what and if the team is FCD or Texans (major sponsors) top 7. Is this correct?

Nope. Here are the qualifying rules for U13-U16 Dallas area teams.
1. Team that is in First Place in Classic League after 9 games
2. Top Two Dallas Texans teams in Classic League after 9 games, provided they are 7th place or higher.
3. Winner of DT Fall Festival
4. Winner of Bobby Rhine tournament

So for 2013, the U16 teams will be FCD Centrai; DTFW; and two tournament winners TBD.
