DT South '02 (Adames) wins the U-11 Disney Jr. Showcase

The DT South boys just finished off the Chicago Magic 3-0 to win the U-11 Boys Championship.

They are a great group of boys & very talented!! They fought hard all weekend against good teams from Georgia, Illinois & Florida. Well deserved victory.

Great games very tough....Texans where very good....fun to play other states

This team can flat out play, great coach great group of boys. I tried to tell you guys this team has more than 3 players!

Look you may have an issue with the Texans or the coach, but the kids worked hard and won Disney... Don't try to take away what the kids accomplished, it just makes you look like an a**

Listen.......regardless of what the coach did he has apparently the best team around. Hate the coach, the texans, whatever you want but this team is very talented. We all get on here bad mouthing how coaches act on the sidelines so to say a coach pushed, punched or cussed out a ref shouldn't surprise anyone. Still the fact remain that this team is as solid as they come. Sickoftexans.....we get it......you hate the texans, I dont know your history with them but it's obvious you were burned in some way by them. Funny thing is, this team will continue to win until they are split up over the next couple of years into the pre-academy teams so enjoy your bitterness for the next couple of years.

Wow! Seriously? Obviously, you have a problem with the Texans' coach. But I bet you would not tell him this to his face. You know you wouldn't. Coach Adames is strict, but fair. Did he actually punch a ref? I do not believe that.

so, the comment about possible illegal players...are you saying DTS is playing over-age boys? What are you basing that on?

I get tired of the hold that Texans have on this area and the behavior that some of the coaches display and get away with.I heard that he spit in a coach's face and was suspended for 30 days from NTX. If it was another coach with any other club he would have been suspended even longer and more discpline action would have been taken. I have heard that the behavior displayed is very common from Big Sal.

Being a ref in classic league (and have been for a long time) coaches do not get suspended for making contact with a ref for only 30days. The rumors out there in the soccer world are amusing, especially from disgruntled parents. I signed on this thread because I have been an offical during several U11 games in classic league. I lined one game and was the center for another, this team has heart, glad they could represent North Texas. All I have to say is, have you actually listened to most of the coaches or parents for that matter out at games? We have had plenty parent/spectator suspensions these days, a couple have been suspended for the season. Again, glad to see North Texas Soccer with wins at Disney.

No one should be trashing 10 year old's even if you do think the guys are bit over the top. But you know what, I will use my real name because I won't be ashamed of anything I post here or let my son read and not accusing anyone in particular but I have seen some stuff on here that I am quite sure no one would ever want their real name attached to. But its a public forum - do what you want.
