FINAL Premier VS Blue 3-1, premier takes it


I haven't seen the teams in the white division play enough to venture a guess.

Last year in the TFC Blue Cup, 2001 age group Titans (now Tx Lightning) played FCDP in the final. FCD Blue lost in the Semi to FCDP. The Titans (Tx Lightning) beat OK Cosmos in the other semifinal.

SEMIFINALS:
This year I think Tx Lightning will play FCD Blue. While FCDP will go against FWFC White. Both are good match-ups. The Kansas team has no history in GotSoccer so they are a wildcard.

FWFC White defeated FCDP in last season's opening game of Classic D1. This promises to be another fierce battle as FWFC plays a defensive focused plan with quick counter-attacks. FCDP will control possession, but FWFC will absorb waves of offensive attacks, waiting for the right moments to strike swiftly with their boy wonder.

FCD Blue has a consistently stout defense but has always struggled to score more than a goal a game. When they score 2 goals in a match they often win or tie. The questions is; can they score 2 on the Tx Lightning? The boys in black finished D1 in the top 5 with a balanced game featuring a physical defense and skillful offense. FCDB has no equal to Tx Lightning's primary playmaker.

FINAL:
FCDP in a very close match over Tx Lightning in the final, 2-1.

Hope we do better than our Xolos vs Toluca predictions!

Yeah, I was WAY OFF on the Xolos v Toluca final. The Xolos were impressive.

FWFC, FCDP and Tx Lightning are all capable of taking the TFC Cup this weekend.

I agree that anyone of those teams are all capable of winning this tournament. I believe there is a dark horse team that could pull off the upset and win it all. That would be TFC 01.

not with their schedule, they would have to defeat 3 or even 4 d1 teams to win it all. i would say it's more likely 0-3 and last unfortunately.....

anything can happen. All they need to do is get to the semi's to have a realistic chance at pulling this off.

Man I should of paid more attention to see who they were playing..You were right 0-3 against D1 teams. You would think the tournament director would give them a break on playing all 3 D1 teams.

How about the upset by FCD Blue (Che) over Texas Lightning, 1-0 in the semifinal? They are a fast and feisty group that pressures all over the field.

The FCD Blue defense held Tx Lightning to zero goals in the semi-final. If they could get another solid striker or two, they'd be dangerous.

I agree, TX lightning depends on that great bb way too much… (wakeup call parents) I wonder if he didn’t play on their previous tournament where TX lightning got ‘cero’ points…
