05/06 Pick-up Futsal in HEB/Colleyville/Southlake area

If anyone's interested, there's a new Friday night pick-up Futsal league in the Bedford/Colleyville area.

The 06's & 05's play @ 5:30 p.m., at Harwood Terrace Baptist Church's Gym at 3420 Brown Trail, Bedford. It's not too far from Colleyville/Southlake/Keller. I believe the older kids play at 6:30 and 7:30. More information (and on-line sign-up) is available at www.futsalcontrol.com.

This is only the third or fourth week of games in this age group, but it's been growing each week. They had about 8 to 10 kids show-up last week.

p.s. I'm not affiliated with the league; I'm just hoping it gets traction so we have a pick-up futsal option on this side of town.

I hope we see a few new kids at futsal tonight.

Btw, I got an email saying the organizers (global futbol) are going to draw a name from the list of futsal participants for a free week of skills training.

Are the 03s at 6:30?

Yeah, it's a little informal, but I think it's the 06/05 (5:30), then 04/03 (6:30), then 02 and up (7:30).

But there's usually some overlap, with some of the kids playing up or down depending on how many kids show each week.
