Spring League for 06s? Empty Re: Spring League for 06s?

CFBAL registration is now open!

Link to register: https://events.gotsport.com/(S(otuvuqu1o4gki4yv3j5v4oyd))/forms/app/Default.aspx?EventID=29743

Playing format:
U7/U8 playing 8v8 on field size 80x50 and the cost is $530.00
U9 playing 9v9 on field size 110x65 and the cost is $550.00
U10 playing 11v11 on field size 120x70 and the cost is $625.00

All games will be played at Cox Fields or McInnish Park. Games will be played on Sunday’s beginning at noon. Schedules are flexible for those who coach multiple teams. The league will schedule 10 games, but can only guarantee 8. Season will begin on Sunday, February 10th. Each team will have the option of choosing which weekend they want off for spring break. There will not be any games played on Sunday, March 31st for the Easter holiday.

Each player will need an Academy registration form before the first game played. CFBAL doesn’t form teams; doesn’t place players on a team. For any other questions, please send an email to nicolej@hsp-tech.com for more information, please visit http://www.cfbsoccer.net/2011/academy.htm

As soon as any team registers in any age group, I will certainly post as I do for the girls.

Based on the Fall, looks like most 06 teams played SDL.
Probably a safe bet that most will return.

Solar Chelsea 06 McDaniel are trying to decide on a league. Where are other teams going to register? In the fall we played SDL. Thanks!

Spring League for 06s? Empty Re: Spring League for 06s?

Triumph 06 is still undecided. The league's format being the primary driver behind the decision. We're trying to decide whether to stick with futsol again or move the team outdoors.

I will give credit to BlueSky with their first season of futsol at The Mac in Lewisville. For their first time, all things considered, this Winter season was a very good one. We enjoyed the experience.

Spring League for 06s? Empty Re: Spring League for 06s?

Looks like Liverpool 06 Dalglish will play SDL.

Futsal was the team's first games together and I agree, Futsal at The Mac was a lot of fun. Looks like they made it to the championship game, so one more to go!
Looking forward to seeing how the boys transfer their learned skills to the outdoor game this Spring.
From what I've seen with my older kids, kids (and parents) get bored with too much indoor stuff... It works perfect for change of pace, increasing/changing the type of touches and keeping out of too hot/cold weather, but too much of it causes a loss of interest. However, each team is different and each kid on the team is different...ultimately it's the coach's job to figure it out and hope he made the right decision!
Good luck!

Hope to see you guys out on the pitch this Spring!
