USSF Academy Regionals

The U/16 and U/18 USSF Academy just finished there regional playoffs in Greensboro, NC.

In the U/16- FC Dallas advances to National Championship
In the U/18- Dallas Texans advanced as well.

Congrats to the teams and clubs

National Championship is July 10 at the Home Depot Center in California.

Texans did not allow a goal at Regionals.. very impressive.. did not think they would have done as well. expected Andro to get there.

The U18 Texans team played very well. I watched the game against the Wolves. Texans should content for the championship.

They also have PODcast videos of random games you can watch.
All eight placement matches will be played during the two days, with the championship matches featured at the end of the day and aired live on ESPN Classic.
Also, less than 24 hours after the conclusion of every game, with the exception of the two championship matches on July 16 and July 17, will be streamed the following day on ussoccer.com.

FC Dallas loses to Derby County and Dallas Texans loses to Carmel United. ( No NTX team in the finals!)... That is a shame.

Too bad, U18 Texans very talented, but didn't come out on the winning end - most of this team will be back to make a run next year.

Yes, would have been great to watch a Texas team in the finals, but the teams are still young and have much promise for the future.
