FW Juventus Academy Seeks Players '03 for Spring PAL Play

FW Juventus Academy, the top ranking Fort Worth Academy team in Arlington U10 Gold play, is seeking a few quality '03 boys players for league play and / or guest players for tournaments. We hope to qualify for Classic League next fall. This team was a semifinalist at the Copa Univision, defeating the top team in league play coached by Renato Sampaio (Titans - before they became Texas Lightning). Also, our team has won numerous championships and placed 2nd in an '02 Hispanic League tournament. We practice at Gateway Park near downtown Fort Worth and Haltom City (with lights during DST).

What happened in Arlington PAL? Score was 8 - 0 in a full sided match?

Titans are a good team. They can play with anybody. Rumor is they are in Primetime Sat league so anybody that wants a shot at them will likely get their wish. Cheers.

Juventus played in the Arlington PAL in the fall and finished 5th of 10. Top post says they plan to return for the spring.

Lightning '03 (formerly Titans et. al) is in the TFC Blue Cup and should be a favorite along with Odyssey & TFC Trevino.

FW Juventus '03 started off slow, due to a lack of players. As the season progressed, we finished with 5 wins, one tie, and zero losses. In indoor soccer, we have beaten the '02 OneTouch Strikers in Classic League and tied Odyssey '03. I'm not trying to say we're better than Sampaio's team or the teams above. All I'm saying is that we are an independent club that does not charge what the other academies charge and can use some players. We will not be playing any tournaments except maybe the COPA ESPN on April 19-21 (hopefully, they'll accept our entry) and the Cowtown Cup Classic in May in Fort Worth. Afterwards, we may play another tune-up tournament before the QT. As for guest players for tournaments, we do not need a goalkeeper, but could use a strong defender, a mid, and a forward.
