Last night...
Mexico claims epic battle of vatos
by Paul Kennedy, March 4th, 2013 12:26AM

What made this matchup so intriguing was it was a veritable match of vatos (Mexican dudes), a battle of two teams whose players have grown up playing against and -- in some cases -- alongside one another. Nine of the starters on the two teams were Mexican-Americans. - Paul Kennedy
Three FCD Youth products were on the rosters, too.

I can't believe there wasn't a few broken hips. Lots of contact from the centenarians in the middle.

Re: U-120 USA vs. Mexico, CONCACAF Championship
The Mexico team is very creative on the attack, and the US team has a very good keeper and distributing/switching defenders.
Couldn't resist the opportunity to watch Bueno and Corona while drinking a muy bueno Corona.
Too much stoppage of play and uneven tempers during the match by both teams.
The US team appeared particularly hot tempered during the course of the tourney. That could be a problem down the road for some of the players...

Si senor!
I believe Corona is only 5'5". Given his size, he is an amazing playmaker. Also reads lanes very well...
