According to the 98 D1 standings, Texans finished 8th.
But does anyone know why the Waco vs. Ayses game didn't happen?

Heard they were playing next weekend since some of the boys either lived or had family in West from Waco.

Crazy final day of games among the top 5 teams.

Solar jumped from 5th place Sunday Morning to 2nd Place Sunday Afternoon.

Pumas dropped from 2nd to 5th and out of Premier League qualification.

Heard the FCD Premier and Pumas game was drama filled.

Very drama-filled.
The ref kicked the Pumas parents off the side-lines.
One minute, I'm taking photos of my BB, the next, I'm being told to leave the sidelines with all of the parents.
I have no problem with that.
The ref got tired of being screamed at and criticized.

New twist added, from the Dallas Texans website:

"The Dallas Texans Soccer Club welcomes Waco Blast to our organization"

No wonder there's been no reschedule yet. So many if this, then thats.

Hopefully, DT is not encouraging a forfeit. If they do, then they should lose that invitation to the Classic League, per the Classic League rules.

Agree with Go on this one. If Waco Forfeits - Ayses get 3 points and moves to 8th. Puts more emphasis on Waco to tie or beat Ayses or both Dallas Texans teams would be relegated.

The game should be played so that no other Waco Blast games/records are changed. WB beat the Texans...

whatever happens, games should not be retroactivly changed. Play the game or give the forfeit to waco. Texans and waco go down because its what they earned on the feild of play

It would but the greatness of it is that both Texans teams get relegated. Unless of course they do what the clubs always do and extend the roster deadline so they can move their academy team to Waco roster before they play Ayses. Seems like they should have picked up the Ayses team so they could have a team in D1.

Never underestimate the duplicity of the clubs. Especially when it might effect their image and thus their wallets. Hell if we are talking conspiracy lets all just blame PP for making this happen.
