What is going on at TFC? Rumors of coaches and teams leaving. Rumors of TFC merging with other clubs.

I know Mario Guzman has left TFC and his teams moved to Sting.

Several of their teams disbanding

Club merging with Andromeda, a South Texas club or an out of state club.

Agreement Reached for Allen Complex

Andromeda has reached an agreement with Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church (CCBC) to rent a portion of the grounds for its new soccer complex in Allen, effective July 16th. Andromeda will be taking over a portion of the church complex currently occupied by TFC. In addition, Andromeda will be enhancing the complex and developing additional practice space on the property adjacent to the current fields. Once improvements have been completed, Cottonwood will become the core training facility for the North area teams.

Wouldn't that me more of a statement of a church maximizing it's revenue by bidding out the land as opposed to a statement of a club demise? Would be interested in understanding the boards thoughts though.

That seems harsh. I did not see it as starting a rumor, but trying to find out if there is anything to the rumors. There are some TFC teams leaving and some shopping. Is that natural attrition or the beginning of the end? Trying to discuss that in this forum is not improper, in my opinion, even it hits close to home for some.

TFC folding or not is not important to me. I think posting the crap that was posted is ambiguous at best and drama starting at the worst. I cited specific info that I have heard about TFC. He throws out more innuendos without any substance. so no, I do not think it is harsh.

I was referencing the possible merger/partnership that may or may not exist. As others have mentioned, details arent readily available online. This was the only article I could find.

I haven't heard anything besides TFC looking for a 2nd complex to replace the Stacy/121 ones that Andromeda is now likely overpaying for.

I know a coach left with some girls teams; which is fine; IMHO he should have been fired last year.

I know my BB said there was a coach from Barcelona helping at TFC skills last night.

I have heard some coaches are frustrated over at Liverpool.

I have heard some parents are frustrated with FCD.

I have heard that there is greener grass somewhere but I learned awhile ago not to keep looking for it.

I have not seen or heard an elephant.

I have never cared what was on the shirt my BB played in. it always mattered who the coach was. Volkan is a great developmental coach that got screwed over by the Academy Director of TFC.

TFC Club Board member now coaching Liverpool Warrior team seems like a complete conflict of interest.. unless you are planning on moving your teams there also..
