Is it too late to join 03 team?

My son has been playing basketball most of his life. He also played some rec soccer. Is it too late to find a select soccer team?

Depends on what your looking for. But to play for Classic Qualifier would be out, since Rosters are locked until after qualifier. Most top level teams are hard to get into. I would call around, some teams have left 2 spots open for new members.

Where do you live? I know at least one reasonably priced '03 team (playing Plano) in the Grapevine/SLake area that was looking for players.

I believe Dallas Texans Jacobo team is still looking for a couple players. They are based out of Keller area.

the very simple answer is that you can join a team any time of the year. Today, next week, next month or in 6 month.
If they have an open slot in their roster they will add you, if not they will train you. Obviously there may be some payment involved, but as long as you bring the $ you will find a place.

Thanks for many responses. I'll wait until all of these QT are done, then we'll see who would want my son. If not, he'll just go back to basketball

Mansfield Revolution has spots available, we train in Mansfield and play in Arlington, contact Coach Cesar Duarte (972)765-0009 we have training this week so, its a good time to come out.

Is it possible to "pay" a coach on the side to get on a D1 team? Smile

I would imagine the answer to that question depends on who you go to and what you are willing to sacrifice (playing time,development, etc). Some people in the forum believe that money holds sway with various teams/coaches so let us know how it works out. If your BB is talented and you haven't signed with another team perhaps you will find what you are looking for.
