I am really curious to see how Andromeda Red will do. After the poor showing of the U12 and U13 PA Andromeda teams at the Plano Tournament last week-end, I am afraid it will not be a very strong team.

What is your view of the strength of D1 teams and DA/PA impact? Judging on the results so far, it seems to me like not much have changed; usual suspects are at the top, or no?

Going in order of finish.  

Andromeda Red will be all about development this year.  Most of the players went on to Academy.  PLD tourney was first snapshot for them.

DT Red - some personnel changes, but just won PLD.  So is quality about same or better?

Solar - some personnel changes, made it to semis of PLD.  Same question as above, although one could include worse.

FCD East - virtually same team intact.  Should be at top of league, but as quarterfinal result with DT Red showed there may be parity.

FCD Premier - some personnel changes--only team to lose in premier league, but that doesn't mean anything yet.

Chivas - new personnel and new coach -- ??

Texans Badii - Lost a close one to Solar and D2 TFC - ??

Wizards - some personnel changes -- ??

LP Kuyt - some personnel changes --beat Craft in PLD and was sitting pretty after Saturday.  All changed on Sunday with a loss and no advancement.  ??

Tejanos - had a tough time at PLD, but it is early still ??

As you can see, I have no freaking clue.

For this weekend -

DT RED - LIVERPOOL -- rematch with DTR winning 2-1 this time.
DFW TEJANOS - WIZARDS FC (BURCIAGA) -- 1-1
DT (BADII) - SOLAR -- Solar 2-1 repeat
FCD EAST - CHIVAS - FCD 3-1
FCD PREMIER - ANDROMEDA RED - FCD 3-1

Any thoughts on these results?

I think Odyssey lost some of their best players, they had a bad Arlington labor day tournament and now they loss 2-7. Suarez team seems to have gotten stronger.

For D3 I think, Storm will be promoted fallow by Samba or Irving.

Odyssey only had 2 players out of 14 return this year. This is a brand new team made up of Arlington League and Rec players.

So were did they go?

I know a handful of their best payers were guesting with FCD Premier 00's early in the summer.

They went to FC Dallas Premier, Texans Craft, Texans White, Tejanos, Andromeda Academy, and another I can't think of.
