A big world cup qualifier tonight at Crew Stadium. Who do you think will win?

Hmmmm, a more than valid piece of feedback! Thanks for the catch.
This was my first attempt at trying to post a poll. I can't determine a way to edit the poll.
Oh, well, lesson learned. My next poll will be new and improved (will include the option of a draw). Till then, this specific poll will only collect data on a possible winner.

Re: USA v. Mexico @ Columbus Ohio
I do not disagree, but the goals were not the keeper's fault. he was severely let down by the guys in front. The kid at right back was awful. Was out of position so much that OG had to cover, get stretched and get caught out of position. And, then there is Jermaine Jones. What a tool. Never tracked back and left Beasley alone too often. I do think Timmy's best days are past him though...off_the_woodwork wrote:Would feel better if Guzan was in goal....sorry but Howard is no longer the best in the US IMO...NTXPARENT wrote:USA will

I have to apologize for calling Jermaine Jones a tool. I thought he, along with many of the players, played very well last evening. He tracked back and made some nice passes up top. Overall, the team played well. They survived the first 10 or so minutes and maintained their assignments. They then were able to counter and attack from the outside with more chances. Well done!

Re: USA v. Mexico @ Columbus Ohio
A home field advantage does wonders.
The crowd and the stadium were decked-out in full USA regalia.
If you ever get a chance, watch a USA game standing within the American Outlaw section. Your ears will ring for days and your voice will be coarse. TV can't do justice to the feeling of being in the crowd.

Agree about Jermaine, and also would add that Timmy played much better in goal yesterday. He wasn't extremely busy but did have to make 3 very good saves. He has had the tendancy to come off his line at times that he couldn't possibly reach the ball and end up in no mans land. Last night his decision making was good and he gave Mexico no easy openings.getafe01 wrote:I have to apologize for calling Jermaine Jones a tool. Interestingly, the Mexico keeper made the big mistake on the first goal by coming out to try to punch the ball away when he had no chance of getting there through traffic. Anyway it was still an awesome finish by EJ!
