This isn't the 03s...not yet anyway  

03's alway quiet. Minimal parent ego there. Have an 07 in the game playing up, but personally like the PST 07 team - has some skillful players also playing up here, there, and everywhere. Coach teaches skills, touch, and ball movement. Liverpool has a good group of boys my kids played against indoor that was small sided stuff. Coach has some players. Long, long road here. Winning not important at this age. Skills, tricks, fun,confidence, and beginning to understand concept of team play. Stay away from joy stick coaches and let the kids begin to make their own decisions at this age, as this is one of the breakthroughs US soccer needs......soccer IQ is learned, but can be taught or coached to become instinctive by asking kids questions versus telling. Good luck 07 boys.

My son is loving the SDL league this year. As far as teams go I agree PST is a really good team with solid players at multiple positions and it showed when we played them but they relied on ball movement over skills. FCDallas RICHARDINHO is also a well rounded team for this age group from what I saw of them. We played Dallas Texans North and they were pretty good too, but mainly they depended on a very skilled striker and defender who could score from anywhere. Both of those Texans boys were highlight reels, by far two of the best players I've seen at this age, but was not the best overall team. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the 07 teams this season.  Just my two cents for what it's worth.

great POV- Ricky is a great coach and teacher, and do agree skills, comfort and confidence with the ball is critical to kids developing at this age. They need to develop or be exposed to situations where they can develop a soccer IQ which is experiential and hard to reach. So as they say, touches on the ball and as many as you can get by just playing. Streetball, small sided, 1v1 in the house with older brother, nutmeg the chair and the dog, shadow the tree, chip it over the couch or into a basketball net, etc. The stuff you cannot teach.

Denske and Richardinho are both quality teams. Great games to watch! Loving the SDL league. The referee we had today was fantastic. Didn't catch his name, but a quality referee that took the time to explain the call to the kids and encourage them when they made a nice move or pass.

PST also made it to the national championship final at Disney where they won 2nd in the nation for 3v3

PST was phenomenal.

WOW its come down to posting scores for 07? Wish this forum had a face palm emotion.

This season I've been blown away with how many good 6 and 7 year olds I've seen. It's truly amazing to see these kids play how they do. Fantastic job to all the coaches who are helping develop all these great little players.

Very good game yesterday between Andromeda 07 Ozcomert and PST 07. It was 1-0 PST at halftime with the boys just battling out there. Andromeda tied it up a few minutes into the second half. At the final whistle PST came out on top 4-1. The boys on both side of the ball were very good. Good competitive game to end the SDL season.

I agree with this post above. Both teams all season played fantastic soccer and yesterday was no different, it's special to see such young players playing as well as both these teams displayed yesterday. Great job to both teams!
