Thanks for the information. A couple of questions:

Will games be on Saturday or Sunday?

Can you dual roster players in two divisions? In other words, can you have some overlap in rosters for on an 8v8 U8 team, and a 9v9 U8 team. We have around 20 players -- too many players for one team, but not quite enough for two complete teams.

Games will play on Saturday and/or Sundays.
The rule with academy players playing on multiple teams is this:
A player may participate on as many teams as the parents can pay for Very Happy
I've had players play at noon and walk two fields over to play a game at 1:10 for a different team - totally acceptable.

Thanks. Good luck adding boys teams in new age groups.

We would love it if a good 9v9 U8 league gets off the ground.

In a separate thread in the 06 board, I'm trying to drum up some interest for a competive U8 9v9 league. It might be helpful if you could make a separate post on the 06/U8 board and start tracking the teams who have expressed interest in a U8 league. That seemed to work well on the girls side -- particularly in U9.

So far, we have at least some level of interest from: Solar Red, Riojas, Kicks, and another team that I don't want to name without their permission.

We can't commit at this point, as we have to dicuss with our parents, coach, etc. And I'm sure most teams are in the same boat.

But I don't think very many teams will give the league serious consideration without seeing an interested teams list.
