98 Div2 Game Of The Week
Hurst United is 1 point behind TFC, these two teams play this weekend for 2nd place. Both teams (should...) win the rest of their games.

Looks like the top two of DII and DIII are going to be extremelly close! Should be an exciting finish!

Re: 98 Div2 Game Of The Week
I would have said my money is on HUFC, but then they couldn't handle the Kicks, so I'm confused again. Oh well, I guess I'll still give HUFC a slight edge in this one. But it could easily end in another 0-0 tie too, very hard to score on TFC. I'll say 1-0 HUFC, or 0-0 tie. I'd like to see ASG return from the dead in D3, but I don't know whether they will make it or not.

Re: 98 Div2 Game Of The Week
Agree with being confused on the HUFC loss to Kicks. Kicks hadn't been playing as well as they did early in the Fall and HUFC seemed to come into the Spring motivated. It could have been hangover from the HUFC send-offs from Saturday, or perhaps the weather on Sunday, but I caught a part of the game on Sunday and, at least from my perspective, Kicks controlled possession on the HUFC defensive side most of the time that I was watching. The TFC-HUFC game should be a good one.
I actually think ASG has a shot in D3. Their remaining games are against the number 7, 9, and 10 teams in D3. TLSC/Ayses and FWFC (the number 1 and 2 teams) play each other this weekend, so as long as ASG takes care of its own business, they are either going to be ahead of FWFC for second, tied for second, or just a point out. I think they have to be pulling for a TLSC/Ayses win.

Re: 98 Div2 Game Of The Week
It looks like ASG needs FWFC to lose in order to get into the top 2. A tie between FWFC and TLSC/Ayses would would put ASG even with FWFC, but FWFC has a far greater goal differential than ASG. A win by FWFC would keep them 2 up on ASG and TLSC/Ayses would still be 1 up on ASG and I don't see any of these 3 losing any of their last 2 games. Saturday should determine the top 2 in DIII.FSFFL wrote: I actually think ASG has a shot in D3. Their remaining games are against the number 7, 9, and 10 teams in D3.
